STOCK DIVISION PLANS
Page 17 – “Airfoils” – Length should read “9 5/8” front foils, 10 5/8” rear foils”
SUPER STOCK DIVISION PLANS
Page 6 – Figure 2.1 – Foot Brace should say “See figure 2.4” not 2.3.
Page 17 – “Airfoils” – Length should read “9 5/8” – all foils are the same length.
SCOTTIE SPECIAL/OPTIONAL SCOTTIE PLANS
Page 4 – SM-3.00D – Section should read “AASBD issued mounting plates must be used. Bottom plate may be epoxied to the floorboard.”
Page 9 – SM-5.00A – Last sentence should read “Design it so that the brake, when pulled up, will meet the 3/16” ground clearance rule.” Clearance is 3 1/16” with z-glas, 3” with steel wheels.
Page 12 – SM-6.03A – End of sentence should read “….hardware must be used” – replace “may” with “must”.
Page 13 – SM-6.05B – Figure #’s are reversed. 6.3 is the rear, 6/4 is the front.
Page 20 – “Floorboard – Kingpin Holes” – Should read “Max 1” dia. & may plug with wood of choice” – replace word “material” with “wood”. AASBD issued bushing must be used.
2006 SCOTTIE PLANS
**Clarification** When measuring girth, measure using the 36” circumference measurement, not the 11 ½” inside measurement. A measuring tape should be stretched from the bottom edge of the shell, over the top of the car, and to the bottom edge on the other side. Total measurement is 36”.
